QUESTIONS FOR OAHU, HAWAII BATHROOM RENOVATION EXPERTS
easy · fast · reliable · simple ·
Most bathroom renovations take 2–4 weeks depending on the size, scope, and any custom features. A standard tub to shower conversion can take just a week. We’ll provide you with a clear timeline before we begin.
For a standard bathroom renovation, a permit is likely not needed. You don’t need a permit for cosmetic updates such as painting, replacing tiles, installing new flooring, cabinetry, or swapping out fixtures. Permits are generally required when the project involves structural changes, such as altering or removing load-bearing walls, relocating plumbing and/or electrical lines, or adding windows. If a permit is required for your project, we will be able to take care of the process for you.
In most cases, the bathroom under renovation will be out of service. If you only have one bathroom in your home, we’ll work with you to create a timeline that minimizes disruption.
Yes, however we encourage you to let us handle sourcing the materials whenever possible. This ensures quality, avoids delays, and makes the entire process smoother and more efficient for everyone involved.
Sometimes hidden issues like mold or water damage are discovered once we open up walls or flooring. If the affected area is 10 square feet or less, our team is able to remediate the damage as part of the renovation process. However, if the issue spans a larger area, we will need to pause the renovation and connect you with a trusted restoration company that specializes in handling extensive mold or water damage. Once the area has been professionally restored and deemed safe, we’ll resume your bathroom renovation.
Our labor warranty protects you against issues that result from how the work was performed, not from the products or materials themselves (those are usually covered by the manufacturer). This means that if something was installed incorrectly, fails due to poor workmanship, or doesn’t meet the agreed-upon standards, we’ll come back and fix it at no extra cost during the warranty period.
Examples of what’s covered under a labor warranty:
Tile that loosens or cracks due to improper installation
Leaks caused by faulty shower, tub, or toilet installation
Fixtures not mounted or sealed correctly
Paint or finishes that fail prematurely due to poor prep work
Cabinetry or vanities not secured properly
What’s not covered:
Normal wear and tear from everyday use
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of proper maintenance
Product defects (these are handled through the manufacturer’s warranty)
Issues caused by external factors (flooding, foundation movement, etc.)
Length of coverage: Our standard labor warranty lasts one year from the date of project completion. If an issue arises within that time, simply contact us, and we’ll schedule a repair.
